The venue was set in the central position adjacent to centre, all shops, The barbican theatre. I enjoyed quick meals at Vikings Pizza located 400 metres away.

A just perfect stay. Pleasant staff, fairly clean and hip new hotel. The continental breakfast food was good. Central heating, a writing desk and an ironing set in the room and the extremely comfy bed. The service was excellent during my stay.

Worth its 4 stars. Comfortable bed, friendly staff and accessible location. You won't be disappointed if you stay in York City Centre district. The buffet breakfast was our favourite.

It was a big advantage to stay within 15 minutes' stroll from museum gardens. A few steps away from the restaurant The Postern Gate. Distance to York train station was about 15 minutes walk. York City Centre neighborhood definitely deserves your time and attention.
